Trip/Voyage details		Cruising adventure with higher latitude regions of formost interest but departing from the Canary Islands and north via Morocco, Iberian Pen., West Ireland, Scotland, Shetlands, Norway then if season permits west via the convenient stepping stones of Faroes, Iceland, SW tip of Greenland then coastal sailing Marine Privinces of Canada to the NE coast of America. Long term plans are to return via Atlantic Islands and Brazil to Patagonian and Chile with a cruise of the Antarctic Peninsula likely. Long term commtment highly desirable.

Sailing Background:		Having built my vessel-lauched in 1970- I´ve sailed her over the past 40 years some 150,000 miles which includes 2 and 3/4 circumnavigations with a recently completed eastward world passage from Alaska passing Cape Horn, Cape of Good Hope and central Indian Ocean, SE Asia, Indonesia, north around New Guinea, Australia, NZ and back to southern Chile. Then after two seasons sailing the remote and scenic Patagonian Channels of Southern Chile, Str. of Magellan and Tierra del fuego area and Drake Passage part the way to the Antarctic Peninsula I´ve arrived in the Canary Island of Tenerife dep. March of 2009 from the Cape Horn region via the Falklands, spectacular and historic Antarctic island of South Georgia, Cape Town, St. Helena, Ascension, Cape Verdes to Tenerife. Have taught at the college level celestial navigation but use GPS for convenience and accuracy. I´ve been professionally involved with the Marine industry as Mariine Surveyor and Compass adjustor at my home port of Sitka, Alaska where I now have a nice island property with house and business as well as a small sawmil business.
