Trip/Voyage details		Skipper and Mate sought for 70 foot sailing custom, luxury catamaran. Immediate opening. Applicant must have experience and formal qualifications to satisfy owners’ and insurance company requirements for ocean crossings. Must be skilled in all facets of seamanship sufficient to maintain our boat to a high standard, trouble shoot problems as they arise, perform minor mechanical and cosmetic repairs and perform and oversee work while she is in the yard. Meal preparation and interaction with owners and guests is an important part of the job. Hospitality or charter experience highly desired. References required. Industry standard salary and benefits offered. Built in New Zealand, our boat has been sailed by professional crew and used exclusively by her owners since her launch in 2004. She is currently in transit from Thailand to the Mediterranean via the Suez Canal and will be hauled in Turkey for maintenance. After the summer in the Med, she will sail to the Caribbean where we plan to place her in charter part-time.
